The Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics - ASDP is a not-for-profit membership organisation. ASDP members are doctors with a specialist clinical and/or academic interest in developmental paediatrics.

Registration Inclusions

ASDP Member 3-day Registration:

Admission to all sessions, including the pre-conference SIG meetings, access to the conference app, attendance e-certificate, morning/afternoon teas and lunches on each of the day of the conference days, access to session recordings, and a ticket to the Welcome Reception on Thursday, 20 August 2026.

The Early Bird discount closes on 30 June 2026. 


Non-Member 2-day Registration:

Admission to all sessions on Friday, 21 August and Saturday, 22 August 2026, access to the conference app, attendance e-certificate and morning/afternoon teas and lunch on the day of your registration and access to Friday and Saturday session recordings. The 2-day registration also includes a ticket to the Welcome Reception.

Getting There

The Pullman Melbourne Albert Park is easily accessible from Melbourne Airport by taxi or rideshare, with a typical travel time of around 30 minutes depending on traffic. From the CBD, the hotel is a short drive or tram ride, with several tram routes stopping nearby and providing a straightforward connection to the city centre.

Parking

Limited undercover parking is available at Pullman Melbourne Albert Park.

ASDP delegates can access a discounted conference parking rate of $20 per day, per exit.

To receive the discounted rate:

  1. Scan the conference parking QR code displayed in the Level 1 Ballroom foyer using your mobile phone.
  2. Enter your vehicle registration number. Please do this at least 15 minutes before leaving the venue.
  3. Pay at the parking pay station in the B1 lift lobby, or at the boom gate on departure. A paper or QR code invoice is available if required.
  4. Once payment is complete, simply exit via the boom gate using licence plate recognition.

Please note: The conference parking QR code must be scanned each day you park to receive the discounted rate.

Arrival and Registration

If you are attending any conference activity, including a workshop, Special Interest Group (SIG), conference session or social event, please make your way to the Ballroom Foyer on Level 1 when you arrive.

The Registration and Information Desk is located in the conference centre foyer on Level 1. Our team will be available to:

  • Check you in
  • Provide your name badge
  • Answer any questions
  • Direct you to your session or activity

Your conference name badge is required for entry to all conference sessions and social events.

Registration and Information Desk Opening Hours

Wednesday 19 August

11.45 am - 7.00 pm

All delegates attending the Thursday Members Day are encouraged to collect their name badge on Wednesday after 4 pm, even if they are not attending a SIG or workshop. This will help you avoid the Thursday morning registration queues and get straight into the conference.

Thursday 20 August

7.30 am - 7.00 pm

Please note that the registration kiosks are open only for delegates registered to attend on that day. If your registration commences on Friday, please collect your name badge when you arrive on Friday morning.

Friday 21 August

7.30 am - 5.30 pm

Saturday 22 August

8.00 am - 3.00 pm

Thursday - Members-Only day

Thursday, 20 August 2026 is an ASDP Members-only Day.

Attendance on Thursday is included with ASDP Member registrations only and is not included in Non-Member registration categories.

CPD Points / Certificate of Attendance

Following the conference, delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance outlining the number of educational hours attended.

You can use this certificate when applying for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points through your relevant professional college.

Photography

Photographs and video may be taken throughout the conference and during social events. These images may be used in future ASDP promotional material, including the ASDP website, newsletters and social media channels.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please let the photographer know at the earliest opportunity or contact the conference organisers at annualmeeting@asdp.au.

Session Recordings

Registered delegates will receive complimentary access to conference session recordings through the OnAIR Virtual Conference Portal a few weeks after the conference.

Login details and access instructions will be emailed to registered delegates once the recordings are available.

Social Event Bookings

The ASDP Conference offers several opportunities to connect with colleagues throughout the week.

If this is your first ASDP Conference or you're a new ASDP Member, we'd love to welcome you.

Join us for an informal gathering on Wednesday evening to meet fellow delegates before the conference begins. No booking is required.

Join colleagues following the Members Day for drinks, canapés and relaxed networking at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park. Catch up with colleagues, meet new delegates and enjoy drinks and canapés in a relaxed setting.

Trainees' and Early Career Consultants' Dinner - Thursday, 20 August 2026

Trainees and Early Career Consultants are invited to attend a dedicated networking dinner with peers and senior clinicians at Tombo Den. Tickets are required and can be purchased separately, subject to availability.

Conference Dinner - Friday, 21 August 2026

The Conference Dinner will be held on Friday evening at the iconic Melbourne Museum. This is a ticketed event and must be booked during registration. Coach transfers will be provided between the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park and Melbourne Museum for delegates attending the dinner.

Inspired by Melbourne, the City of Festivals, this year's dinner theme is Fashion Festival. Dress is smart casual with a fashionable twist. Special Interest Group (SIG) Meetings and Workshops

Join colleagues before the conference officially begins on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.

Special Interest Group (SIG) Meetings

Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings are informal, collaborative sessions where delegates can discuss current topics, share experiences and connect with colleagues who have similar clinical or professional interests.

SIG meetings are open to registered ASDP Member conference delegates and will be held from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm. A light sandwich lunch will be provided.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Our two pre-conference workshops are fully booked.

Workshops will be held from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm and 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.

Entry is available only to delegates who have pre-booked a workshop. Registration will be checked at the room entrance. Welcome tea and coffee, together with light refreshments, will be provided for workshop attendees.

Cancellation Policy - Registration and Accommodation

Conference

You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration for the Event for any reason. If you have paid a registration fee and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email:


(i) more than 15 days prior to the first day of the Event, ASDP will refund the registration fee in full less a cancellation fee as determined from time to time.

(ii) less than 15 days prior to the first day of the Event, no refund will be payable by ASDP


You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration for a social function. If you have paid a registration fee for a social function and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email more than 15 days before that function, ASDP will refund the social function registration fee in full. No refunds are available for cancellations within 15 days from the function.


Accommodation

As ASDP facilitates booking of accommodation for the Event, cancellations in whole or part may incur a penalty at the supplier’s discretion under the terms of the supplier’s cancellation policy.


You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your accommodation booking for the Event for any reason. If you have paid the accommodation fee and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email:


(i) more than 30 days prior to the first day of the event, the Hotel will refund the accommodation fee in full if pre-paid, less a cancellation fee as determined from time to time.

(ii) accommodation cancellations within 30 days of your arrival date are charged at 100% of the booked accommodation.
